With the unique ability to seamlessly glide between the high powered corporate environment, the trend-setting world of Hollywood and the magic of Broadway, Michelle's resume speaks for itself. She has starred in feature films, sung lead vocals and danced in world famous ballets. She's also been featured on Broadway, produced dance casting workshops throughout the world--including Paris, Tokyo, London and Jerusalem-- choreographed for top recording artists, and the list goes on. Michelle's choreography credits include the upcoming feature film, "Thank Heaven" with Jenny McCarthy. She starred in "Dance Macabre", opposite Robert (Freddy Kruger!) Englund in a dual role and choreographed the ballet and jazz scenes on location in Russia, with the famed Kirov Ballet. Recent commercial credits include a national PRINGLES spot called "Music Pop," that Michelle choreographed, and "Sweaters," for MERVYNS clothing has Michelle dancing in the snow--look for it this holiday season.
For 15 years, More Zap Productions has produced, directed and choreographed over 600 corporate and private special events, product launches and themed projects. Michelle's training has been on-the-job, working with some of the great choreographers and directors, including Michael Kidd, Michael Bennett, Debbie Allen, Albert Hague, Stefan Wenta, Stanley Holden, Xenia Chlistowa. Her
dance training started in Santiago, Chile at age 3! Since then
she's been awarded scholarships
to study and perform with some of the most
prestigious institutions including the Joffrey Ballet, National
Ballet of Canada, San Francisco Ballet, Banff Festival of the
Arts, and Harkness.
Her professional career began in her early teens when she was cast
in a Pepsi commercial. At 18 she joined the original cast of NBC's "Fame" series
cast, and then moved to New York to dance with the Joffrey Concert
Group, and on Broadway. Michelle is available for Master Classes, Cheer clinics and to produce special events with Choreography Central. She also themes each client project, hires the talent and chooses all the elements for each clinic.
